According to MLB.com, The Mets have agreed to a minor league deal with 29 year-old RHP Blaine Boyer. Boyer was 3-2 with a 4.26 ERA in 54 appearances for the ARZ Diamondbacks in 2010, limiting right-handed hitters to a .198 average. During the epic 2008 collapse of the Mets, Blaine had a part in the downfall.. just check this link out..

Now, the video doesnt show much, but I expect him to be effective vs. right handed hitters, and in the dugout when we face the Phillies. Its a minor deal, so, we'll see what happens.
